Jackie Broad is an experienced educator and leader in the Marin County community, currently serving as a Literacy and Math Intervention Specialist at Mill Valley School District since September 2015. Broad's role involves utilizing data-driven assessments to address student deficits and crafting customized lesson plans. Additionally, Jackie holds various leadership positions, including Director on the Board of Marin Humane and Donor Advisory Board member for SchoolsRule-Marin, where fundraising efforts have raised nearly $700k annually to support public school initiatives. As the founder and author at Three Puppies Press, Jackie has published award-winning children's books and manages all aspects of the publishing business. Broad's extensive background also includes significant contributions to Kiddo! Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation, where leadership roles included Vice Chair and Chairman of the Board. With a solid educational foundation in Mathematical Economics and Marketing, Jackie Broad combines expertise in education, finance, and community engagement to impact student learning positively.

The Mill Valley School District is located 8 miles north of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County, California. The district has 5 elementary schools and 1 middle school with an enrollment of approximately 3,250 students in grades K through 8. Four of the schools are located within the City of Mill Valley, while two are located in the adjacent unincorporated areas of Strawberry Point and Tamalpais Valley. The District also includes the unincorporated communities of Alto, Almonte, Homestead Valley, and Muir Beach. The community has been rated as one of the top 20 best small towns in America by Smithsonian magazine.
