Dr. Tim Stoops

Dr. Tim Stoops is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Principal of the Charter School of Excellence at PERSEUS HOUSE CHARTER SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE since July 2024. With a substantial background in the Millcreek Township School District since August 2001, Dr. Stoops has held various roles including Director of Alternative Education, Director of Secondary Education Curriculum, Principal at McDowell Intermediate, and Middle School Principal. Prior to the current position at PERSEUS HOUSE, Dr. Stoops worked as a Consultant, Education Manager, and Case Manager at Perseus House, Inc. Dr. Stoops holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from Youngstown State University, along with several other degrees and certifications in educational administration and secondary education from Gannon University, PennWest Edinboro, and Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
