Aysha House

VP, Congressional & Public Affairs at Millennium Challenge Corporation

Aysha House is Vice President for MCC’s Department of Congressional and Public Affairs where she oversees the planning, implementing, and overseeing of domestic and international communications, media relations, events, and digital and outreach strategies, and as well as strengthening MCC’s relationships with Congress, NGO’s, businesses, and the U.S. public.

Ms. House has a distinguished career in the U.S. government in both executive and legislative branches. Prior to joining MCC, Ms. House served as the Senior Advisor and Feed the Future Interagency Coordinator at USAID where she worked to advance the U.S. government’s global food security efforts. Additionally, Ms. House advanced USAID’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion agenda (specifically a Founding Member of the Donald Payne Fellowship Program) and supported various Congressional efforts.

Ms. House has also served as the Director of External Affairs at the U.S. African Development Foundation, and Director of Congressional Affairs for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (now the Development Finance Corporation). She brings extensive experience as a congressional staffer from serving in both the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate for over a decade.

Ms. House received a Master’s degree in Political Management from The George Washington University and two Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Social Science.
