Jay Thorson

Jay Thorson has extensive experience in finance within the hospitality sector, currently serving as the Director of Finance for North America at Millennium Hotels and Resorts since October 2017. Previously, Jay held various positions, including Area Director of Finance at Millennium Biltmore Los Angeles and Financial Controller at Sofitel Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Additionally, Jay has experience as Regional Director of Finance at Millennium Biltmore - Los Angeles and Director of Finance at Viceroy Hotels and Resorts. From October 2011 to September 2014, Jay was the Area Director of Finance for four hotels in the greater Los Angeles and Santa Barbara areas while employed at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. Jay earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from San José State University between 1975 and 1978.
