Edmund dela Cruz

Edmund dela Cruz has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in various roles. Edmund worked as a Principal Engineer at Millennium Engineering and Integration from 2008 to the present, where they have worked on projects such as the Lunar Environments Arcjet Facility and the BioSentinel Mission. Edmund also developed the Autonomous Flight Safety Unit (AFSU) for Space Launch Vehicles and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and utilized MATLAB/Simulink models for C/C++ code generation.

Prior to that, Edmund worked at Wind River from 2001 to 2008 as a Member of Technical Staff, where they developed analysis tools for embedded systems and designed sensorpoint editor plugins and user interfaces for Wind River Workbench.

Edmund also worked at Integrated Systems, Inc. (merged with Wind River) as a Software Engineer from 1996 to 2001, where they developed application software, designed graphical user interfaces, and created automated tests.

Their earliest work experience was as a Research Assistant at Tennessee Technological University from 1990 to 1996, where they conducted research on system identification and multisensor data fusion.

Edmund dela Cruz's education history begins in 1986 when they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University. They then pursued further studies, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems Theory from the same university from 1990 to 1992. Following this, they continued their academic journey and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Control Systems Theory from Tennessee Technological University between 1992 and 1996.
