Israel Englander is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Millennium, the firm he founded in 1989 with $35 million.

Prior to starting Millennium, Izzy was a floor broker, trader, and specialist on the American Stock Exchange and owned a specialist operation. He served as Chairman of the Specialist Association and has been on numerous American Stock Exchange committees, including Allocations, Allocation Procedures, Emerging Company Marketplace, Options, and Special Allocations.

Izzy received a BS in Finance from New York University. He attended New York University Graduate School of Business Administration.
