Mark Lonsdale

Mark Lonsdale is an experienced engineering leader in the storage and data management industry, currently serving as Head of Databases and Storage at Millennium since November 2023. Prior to this role, Lonsdale held significant positions such as Head of Storage Engineering at Citadel and Director of Engineering at Stellus Technologies, where responsibilities included overseeing the architecture and development of a high-performance storage system. Lonsdale has also served in key engineering roles at organizations like AgilitySphere, EMC, and Active Storage, contributing to product development and team management across various aspects of storage solutions. Lonsdale co-founded WysDM Software and played a pivotal role in pioneering "Storage as a Service" at StorageNetworks. Lonsdale's career began at Goldman Sachs as a Systems Analyst, shaping technology strategy during transformative times in the storage sector. Mark Lonsdale earned a BSc MEng in Computer Science from The University of Manchester.
