Matthew Baker

Matthew Baker has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Matthew started their career as an intern at Blue Origin in 2006. Matthew then worked as an Avionics Manager at Garvey Spacecraft Corporation from 2008 to 2009. From 2009 to 2016, they served as an Avionics Development Engineer at Millennium Space Systems. After that, they joined Vector Launch Inc. as the Director of Avionics, where they worked from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they are employed at Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, where they held the role of Senior Space Research and Development Engineer, Peer Team Lead from 2019 to 2021. Matthew has recently been promoted to the position of Director of Hardware Engineering.

Matthew Baker began their education at Santa Barbara City College in 1999, where they studied Computer Science. Matthew then transferred to UC Santa Barbara in 2002 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2004. After that, they pursued further education at California State University, Long Beach from 2005 to 2007, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. In addition, in the year 2000, Matthew briefly attended the United States Naval Academy. However, no degree or specific field of study is mentioned for this period.
