Nathan Smith

Nathan Smith is a skilled spacecraft systems engineer currently employed at Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company, since February 2023. Previously, Nathan served as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan, facilitating physics lab sections and assisting students in understanding electricity and magnetism. Involved in innovative research as the Team Lead and Treasurer at Bioastronautics and Life Support Systems, Nathan focused on autonomous robotic solutions for NASA's X-HAB challenge. Other relevant experience includes contributions to orbital debris removal projects, development of Python programs for sensor data management, and roles in teaching STEM subjects. Nathan holds a Master of Engineering in Space Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
