Vanessa Franco

Vanessa Franco is an experienced Environmental Test Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company, since August 2023. Previously, as a Test Engineer at Heliogen from February 2022 to April 2023, Vanessa developed and executed 40 test plans for heliostat component testing and managed a $90,000 optical test system project. From August 2017 to December 2021, Vanessa served as the IAM3D Design Team Captain at ASME, where achievements included placing 5th in the 2019 ASME E-FEST competition and leading a team to optimize designs for 3D-printed hovercraft and drones. Additional experience includes a Manufacturing Engineering Internship at Raytheon and a Quality Engineering Internship at The Walt Disney Company. Vanessa holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
