Debora Exum

Software Release Manager at Millennium Systems International

Debora Exum has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Debora started their career in 1990 as a Director and Systems Analyst at the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, where they oversaw the implementation of the Banner Student and Financial Aid System for more than 30 institutions. Debora was responsible for developing, training, and deploying Banner enhancements to meet state requirements.

In 2006, Debora became the Owner/President of Dragonfly Quilt Shop, Inc., where they successfully managed the business until 2011.

In 2012, they returned to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia as an Associate Director, focusing on identifying, exploring, and implementing new solutions for the Student Services team. Debora played a key role in ongoing projects such as Ellucian's Degree Works, Banner XE, and a major software redesign using Oracle's SOA suite of tools. Debora was later promoted to Assistant Director, Administrative Services, a position they held until their departure in 2023.

Most recently, Debora joined Millennium Systems International in 2023 as a Software Release Manager, where they are responsible for managing the release process and ensuring successful software releases across multiple projects.

Debora Exum completed their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Data Processing and Data Processing Technology/Technician from Dekalb Community College, where they studied from 1982 to 1984. Debora then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management Information Systems, General from The University of Georgia, graduating in the years 1992 to 1997.
