Julianne Cassin Sharp has been working in the field of Immigration and Nationality Law since 2001. Julianne began their career as an Immigration Attorney at Maroko & Landau, P.C. in 2001. In 2009, they joined Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C. as a Shareholder and Immigration Attorney, providing specialized legal representation in the area of Immigration and Nationality Law in the following areas: Corporate/business-based immigration matters, family-based immigration matters, and representation of individuals before the U. S. Immigration Court. In 2018, they moved to Miller Canfield as Senior Principal and Immigration Practice Leader, continuing to specialize in the same areas.

Julianne Cassin Sharp's educational history began with a high school diploma from University Liggett School between 1991 and 1994. Julianne then attended John Carroll University in 1994-1995 before transferring to Western Michigan University, where they earned a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from the Lee Honors College in 1998. During their time at WMU, they also studied Law (Derecho), Spanish Language, Mexican History and Culture at Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro from 1996-1997. Julianne then went on to receive their Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2001.
