Kip Kuttner has a diverse work experience in the field of medical and blood bank services. Kip started their career in 1987 as a Transitional intern at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital, followed by roles as a Pathology Resident and AP Fellow at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. In 1993, they worked as a Transfusion Medicine and Blood Bank Fellow at Long Beach Memorial Hospital/Los Angeles American Red Cross. Kuttner then joined Miller-Keystone Blood Center in 1994 as the Medical Director and VP. In 2015, they became the part-time Medical Director at Central Jersey Blood Center until 2019. Currently, they are serving as the Medical Director at Central Pennsylvania Blood Bnk since 2018.
Kip Kuttner received a BA in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1980. Kip then pursued a Doctor of Osteopathy degree in Osteopathic Medicine/Osteopathy from the Western University of the Health Sciences in Pomona, California, completing it in 1987. Kip also participated in various residency and fellowship programs at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, including a Pathology Residency Program and Anatomic Pathology Fellowship. Additionally, they completed a Fellowship in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking at Long Beach Memorial Hospital.
