Ap John McCafferty

John McCafferty, LEED AP has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. John began their career in 2002 as a Project Engineer at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company. In this role, they gained valuable experience in project engineering.

In 2004, John joined Miller Valentine Construction as an Assistant Project Manager. John provided administrative and technical support to ongoing projects and assisted in the pursuit of new projects. During their time in this role, they developed strong project management and coordination skills.

In 2008, John was promoted to Project Manager at Miller Valentine Construction. John took on the responsibility of providing daily technical direction for multiple construction projects, overseeing design teams, and collaborating with the sales team on project strategies.

From 2016 to 2021, John held the position of Senior Project Manager at Miller Valentine Construction. In this role, they assumed leadership of project teams, ensuring the execution of the customer's vision and taking responsibility for the fulfillment of project proposals. John also played a leadership role in various corporate functions within the company.

Currently, John serves as the Vice President of Project Control at Miller Valentine Construction, a position they started in August 2021. In this role, they utilize their extensive experience and expertise to oversee project control and management, ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated strong leadership abilities, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. John'sexperience and expertise make him a valuable asset in the construction industry.

John McCafferty, LEED AP, earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Construction Management from the University of Cincinnati, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained the Procore Certified: Associate certification from Procore Technologies in July 2016.
