Elena Gibson

Elena Gibson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Their most recent role is as an Accounting Specialist at Miller Valentine Construction, where they started in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at LSI Industries Inc. for seven years, initially starting as an Accounts Payable Specialist in November 2014 and then progressing to the role of Accounts Payable Lead in November 2019. Elena was responsible for managing two separate accounts payable departments and handling daily invoice submissions from vendors.

Before their time at LSI Industries, Elena worked at Nordstrom as a Sales Associate, where they sold premium denim and apparel in the women's department. Elena also served as a Phone Operator, answering and routing calls, making store announcements, and paging personnel. Elena completed the Future Nordstrom Leaders program and certification during their time there.

Prior to their role at Nordstrom, Elena worked as a Customer Service Representative at Widmer's Cleaning & Restoration, where they ran the front counter, handled cash drawers, intaked items for cleaning, and resolved customer complaints. Elena also gained experience as a Front Desk Coordinator at The Chambers Packer Studio, where they managed phone calls, schedules, appointments, product orders, and financial transactions for a hair salon.

Elena's earliest work experience was at Starbucks as a Shift Supervisor. In this role, they performed barista duties and took on managerial responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager. Elena managed product orders, trained new employees, conducted store meetings, resolved customer complaints, and maintained the store facilities.

Elena Gibson attended Sycamore High School from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained their high school diploma with a focus on college preparation. In 2006, they briefly studied Astrophysics at the University of Cincinnati, although they didn't complete a degree during their time there.
