Abigail Johns

Abigail Johns, MS has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Abigail most recently worked as a Communications Specialist at MillerKnoll, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate Communications Specialist at BISSELL Homecare, Inc. from April 2022 to February 2023. Abigail also worked as a Freelance Copywriter at Rapid Finance, where they authored and edited weekly articles on business and finance, leveraging SEO strategies. Abigail worked at Bosgraaf Homes as a Sales & Communications Specialist from December 2018 to April 2022. Abigail has also gained experience as an Instructional Design Intern at Quicken Loans and as a Sales Associate at The Brass Anchor. Throughout their time at Wayne State University, they were a Student Athlete and served on the NCAA Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Abigail also took on leadership roles as a Team Captain for the Wayne State University Swimming & Diving team and as a Campus Crew Member for Love Your Melon. Abigail furthered their experience with a Student Athlete Externship at Quicken Loans.

Abigail Johns, MS, holds a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies, which they obtained from Purdue University - The Graduate School between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters at Wayne State University from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their academic qualifications, Abigail has also obtained a certification in UX Research & Strategy from Designlab in July 2021.
