Austin Barrington

Austin Barrington, FSA, MAAA, is a Principal & Consulting Actuary at Milliman since June 2020, having previously held various actuarial roles for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas from September 2012 to June 2020, including Senior Director of Data Science. Prior experience includes a data analyst and mathematics educator role at Dallas Independent School District, where innovative educational solutions were developed, and an event manager and theater technician position at San Antonio College. Austin began the career path as an onsite technician at BCS and a client systems analyst at McCoy Corporation, focusing on technology implementation and support. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Texas State University, along with additional education from Kukulcan Spanish Language School.
