Ed Donaldson

Ed Donaldson, MSHI, currently serves as Co-Chair of the Technical Workgroup at CommonWell Health Alliance and has held the role of Interoperability Product Manager at Milliman IntelliScript since December 2022. Donaldson previously co-chaired the TEFCA Workgroup at CommonWell and worked as a Product Owner at Humana, focusing on API development in an Agile environment. Experience also includes roles as Interoperability Product Manager at Office Practicum and Greenway Health, where responsibilities involved determining strategy, analyzing workflow, and ensuring quality assurance for interoperability solutions. Donaldson contributed to the HL7 Example Task Force and the Beacon/EHR Vendor Affinity Group, authoring whitepapers on health IT interoperability. Educational background includes a Master’s in Health Informatics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor’s in History and Philosophy from the University of South Alabama.
