Esther Yi's work experience begins in 2010 as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where they served as an Education Program Coordinator and Community Developer, spearheading sustainable community and education development projects. Esther then worked as an Education Coordinator and Cross Culture Trainer at Samsung Engineering before joining LiNK : Liberty in North Korea as an Administrative/Campaign Intern, where they operated multiple development projects and maintained positive relationships with donors. Esther went on to work as a Media Community Specialist at Internet Brands, where they co-managed Internet media sites and forums and focused on creating an intuitive user experience. Esther then served as a Design Researcher at the Art Center College of Design, exploring the role of design ideas in various contexts. Esther's next role was as a UI/UX Designer at Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, responsible for creating interactive entertainment across digital media platforms. Esther'smost recent position is as a Senior Designer + Creative Coordinator at Million Dollar Baby Co., a fast-growing children's furnishings design and manufacturing company. In this role, they assist with creative design management.
Esther Yi completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations/ Psychology and Social Behavior/ Digital Art from UC Irvine from 2005 to 2009. Esther later pursued a Master's Degree in MFA-STEM / Media Design Practices at ArtCenter College of Design between 2014 and 2016.
