Liam McNeely

Liam McNeely is a barrister at Mills Lane Chambers since March 2024 and has an extensive background in litigation and dispute resolution, particularly in insolvency, insurance, and general corporate/commercial disputes. Prior to this role, Liam served as a Senior Associate at Bell Gully from March 2021 to March 2024, and at Cooke, Young & Keidan LLP from November 2015 to March 2021. Liam's legal career began as a Solicitor at Bell Gully from March 2012 to June 2015, and also included experience as a law clerk. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from The University of Otago, completed in 2011, along with admission to the Bar in New Zealand in 2012.
