Sofie Thor

Sofie Thor has extensive experience in leadership and consultancy roles within both the public and private sectors. Currently, Sofie serves as a Seniorkonsult at Millwater AB and as Ägare och VD at Soreli AB, both starting in 2025. Prior to these positions, Sofie worked at Alvesta Kommun from 2020 to 2025 in various leadership capacities, including Avdelningschef för stöd & verksamhetsutveckling and Kanslichef, overseeing project management for implementing corporate-wide processes. Experience at Växjö kommun included the role of Revisionschef from 2018 to 2020, while a prior tenure at KPMG Sweden involved providing advisory services for public sector auditing. Sofie's career began at Regeringskansliet in 2000 and includes significant roles at Lunds universitet and Växjö universitet in internal auditing and business control. Sofie holds a Pol. mag degree in Public Administration from the University of Gothenburg and has additional studies in Business Economics from the same institution.
