Tenia Perkins

Tenia Perkins is a psychotherapist at Millwood Hospital, where valuable experience in mental health and substance misuse has been gained since June 2023. Previously, Tenia served as an event coordinator at Main Event since February 2020, managing corporate events while honing skills in vendor coordination and event planning. Tenia's experience as a mentor with Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region in late 2022 involved fostering relationships within the school community and participating in community initiatives. Tenia holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington, expected in December 2023, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the same institution, and an Associate of Arts degree from Tarrant County College. Secondary education was completed at Arlington Collegiate High School, graduating in May 2020.
