Erwan Gicquel

Erwan Gicquel is an experienced professional with a strong background in government affairs and policy within the biopharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as the Government Affairs Lead for Europe at Miltenyi Biomedicine since April 2021, Erwan Gicquel has previously held the position of Director of Government Relations & Policy for EMEA at Celgene from December 2016 to May 2020, and Director of Government Affairs at Biogen from May 2012 to November 2016. Additional roles include Director of European Affairs at Novo Nordisk A/S, Associate Director at Pfizer, and Healthcare Director at EuropaBio. Early in the career, Erwan Gicquel worked as a Clinical Pathologist at UCB Pharma R&D. Academic qualifications include a doctorate in pharmacy from Université de Rennes I and a Master’s degree in Toxicology from Pierre and Marie Curie University. Further studies were completed at the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology in 2020-2021.
