Greg Carlson has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Greg has held positions in various companies and industries, showcasing their leadership and expertise.
Starting in 1988, Carlson worked at ACCO Brands in senior roles, including SVP of Customer Shared Services and SVP of Supply Chain Management. Greg led the consolidation of sales, logistics, and customer service, mentored new business unit teams, and improved service performance and forecasting system accuracy.
In 2001, Carlson joined Briggs Plumbing Products LLC as President & CEO, where they successfully turned around the kitchen & bath fixtures and plumbing products division. Greg focused on establishing customer-centric, cross-cultural, team-based change.
From 2005 to 2006, Carlson served as President & CEO of Ameriwood Industries, leading a turnaround of the $300 million home and office furniture division of Dorel Industries. Greg launched a direct-to-market eCommerce initiative and introduced new products under multiple brands.
Starting in 2007, Carlson became President & CEO and Board member of Block and Company, Inc., overseeing various business units within a shared services environment.
From 2013 to 2015, Carlson was President & CEO and Advisor at Blue Wave Products, Inc. Greg joined River Capital, a private equity firm, to lead its recreational sporting goods portfolio business.
Carlson joined Viibrant in 2016 as a Partner, a startup focused on providing senior living SaaS solutions. The business was successfully sold in 2019, and Carlson reinvested in LivTech, a Senior Healthcare & Living SaaS portfolio of GSV Capital.
Carlson served as Board member for G. Carlson & Associates, Walbec Group, and Ameda, Inc. As Board of Director member of Walbec Group, they contributed to the large-cap road and bridge construction, engineering services, mining, and real estate conglomerate.
Since 2015, Carlson has been the CEO and Board member of Milton Industries, Inc.
