Shamieka Glaude

Shamieka Glaude M.Ed is an experienced educator with a background in mathematics and elementary education. Currently serving as a Mathematics Educator at Milwaukee Academy of Science since December 2019, Shamieka teaches 90 junior high students in a STEM-focused environment and leads the Financial Planning Math Club. Prior to this role, Shamieka worked as an Elementary School Teacher at HOPE Christian Schools from March 2014 to June 2018, where responsibilities included teaching a third-grade classroom of 32 scholars and developing lesson plans across various subjects in alignment with Common Core standards. Shamieka holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching from Concordia University-Wisconsin and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
