Alana Denny

Alana Denny has extensive experience in educational and customer service roles, currently serving as a Teacher Aide at Milwaukee Jewish Day School since August 2011 and as a Waitress at Olydias since April 2011. Prior to these positions, Alana was involved with AmeriCorps as part of the Reading Corps from August 2010 to July 2011. Alana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Special Education, with a focus on the Education/Teaching of Individuals with Specific Learning Disabilities, from Cardinal Stritch University, where studies began in 2014 and are ongoing. Alana completed an earlier education at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee from 2011 to 2015 and graduated from Nicolet High School in 2010.

Milwaukee Jewish Day School

Milwaukee Jewish Day School is an independent, co-educational school and enrolls 200 children from junior kindergarten through eighth grade. More than 700 students have graduated from MJDS since the school first opened its doors in 1981. With an average student-to-teacher ratio of 9:1 and an even lower ratio of 6:1 for its 2-year kindergarten program, students flourish in an intimate and individualized learning environment. Throughout MJDS’ 10-year program, teachers and staff combine academic excellence and Jewish values to prepare children for a lifetime of success, leadership and engagement with the world.
