Tzipi Altman-Shafer currently serves as the Vice President of Jewish Communal Life and Learning at the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, a position held since August 2015. Prior to this role, Tzipi was the Jewish Education Community Planner and worked at the Albert and Ann Deshur JCC Rainbow Day Camp from 2003 to July 2015 as a Jewish Education Specialist, where responsibilities included Jewish programming design and Kabbalat Shabbat leadership. Tzipi also served as a Jewish Educator at the Milwaukee Jewish Day School from 2002 to June 2015, teaching various grades and subjects related to Jewish studies. Previous positions include Director of Education at Beth El Congregation, overseeing multiple educational programs, and Executive Director of the Chattanooga Bureau of Jewish Education. Tzipi holds a Master's degree in Jewish Education from Seigel College and a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies and Hebrew from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
