Debbie Hamlett

Debbie Hamlett currently serves as the VP/General Manager at Milwaukee PBS, a position held since June 2023. Previously, Debbie held the role of Executive Director/General Manager at WCMU Public Media from October 2021 to June 2023, overseeing 38 staff members and a $7.5 million budget. At Nebraska Public Media, from February 2014 to October 2021, Debbie excelled as Executive Director Foundations, Assistant G.M., and Chief Strategy Officer, focusing on business development and community engagement. Prior experience includes Development Director for the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Carolina, Director of Development at Illinois Public Media, and various positions at South Carolina ETV, showcasing a strong background in fundraising, management, and strategic leadership. Debbie Hamlett earned a BA in Marketing/Advertising from the University of South Carolina.
