Michael L Hamman

Michael L Hamman is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and hydraulic systems. Currently serving as a Faculty Lecturer at the Milwaukee School of Engineering since September 2024, Michael guides students in fluid mechanics. Prior roles include Engineering Supervisor and Senior Design Engineer at Power-Packer, where responsibilities encompassed leading design teams and overseeing development projects for hydraulic motion control products. Earlier experience as a Project Engineer/Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer at Oilgear Industrial Systems Group involved designing hydraulic circuits and coordinating project progress. Additional roles at Experis/Manpower Group/Rockwell Automation and Norco Manufacturing focused on mechanical design and custom solutions for industrial applications. Michael holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
