Ty Saunders

Ty Saunders currently serves as a Patrol Officer at Milwaukee School of Engineering, a position held since May 2023. Previously, Ty was employed at Meijer as an Asset Protection Team Lead and Store Detective from November 2018 to May 2023. From August 2017 to November 2018, Ty worked as a Corrections Officer and 911 Dispatcher with the Forest County Sheriff's Department. Ty also led the Northern Michigan University Baseball Club as Student President from May 2015 to May 2017, while holding the position of Student Building Manager in the university's Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreational Sports department. Additionally, Ty gained valuable experience as a Health and Safety Intern/Public Safety Officer at Grand Teton Lodge Company in the summer of 2016 and as a Legal Intern at the United States Attorney's Office from June to December 2015. Ty Saunders earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Michigan University, attending from 2013 to 2017.
