Jacob Antunes

Jacob Antunes has a diverse work experience in the field of medical imaging and research. Jacob currently holds the position of Senior Research Scientist at MIM Software Inc. since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University from May 2016 to September 2020, where they developed computerized methods and applications in the context of medical imaging data for their Ph.D. Jacob also worked as an Algorithms Development and Research Intern at MIM Software Inc. from June 2019 to September 2019.

Jacob's early work experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University from August 2014 to May 2015, where they focused on developing strategies for extracting quantifiable information from medical images and investigating parameters for co-registration of 3D MRI and CT volumes. Following their undergraduate studies, Jacob went on to earn a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, completing the program from 2014 to 2016.
