Shana York

Shana York is a Corporate/Data Privacy/Real Estate/Compliance Attorney with extensive experience in international data privacy and protection, SEC filings, complex legal transactions, and corporate policy implementation. Currently serving as Deputy Member at TechGC since May 2024 and holding the position of Sr. Director, Associate General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer at Mimecast since April 2018, Shana has also held roles including Director and Sr. Manager in Privacy and Compliance. Prior experience includes serving as Counsel at Progress from March 2011 to April 2018 and as an Attorney at Centro Properties Group from September 2003 to August 2009, focusing on real estate transactions. Shana began the legal career as an intern/paralegal at Heritage Property Investment Trust from 2001 to 2003. Shana holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School and a BA in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Hartwick College.
