Roger Givens

Roger Givens has extensive work experience in business community liaison roles. Roger began their career in 2001 as the Employment Service Div. Director at the MS Dept of Employment Security, a position they held until 2004. In 2005, they joined MINACT, Inc. as a Business and Community Liaison, where they worked until 2017. In 2022, they returned to MINACT, Inc. as the Executive Director, Business Community Liaison.

Roger Givens attended Jackson State University from 1967 to 1969 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Education. Roger then pursued further education at Mississippi State University from 1975 to 1978, earning a Master's degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services.
