Deb Carlon

Deb Carlon is a seasoned professional in the mental health sector with extensive experience in project management and consumer advocacy. Currently serving as Project Manager at Mind Australia since December 2022, Deb leads initiatives for The Healing Place. Deb previously held significant roles at the Centre for Mental Health Learning Victoria, including Victorian Lived Experience Co-design Lead, where responsibilities included supervision and consumer readiness projects. With a background as an Independent Consumer Advisor from 2015 to 2021, Deb focused on workforce development, training, and systemic advocacy from a lived experience perspective. Additional experience includes positions at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne, VMIAC in various managerial roles, and facilitation of Hearing Voices groups. Deb's educational qualifications include a Diploma in Community Services and certifications in workplace training and Intentional Peer Support.
