Ilias Bergström

Ilias Bergström has been working as a software engineer since 2004. From 2004 to 2017, they worked at Computer Control Systems SA (C.C.S.) as a software engineer, where they were the lead developer for two software applications and had an important role in the development of another three. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Sciss as a Senior Software Engineer where they developed SCISS' real-time digital planetarium software Uniview and associated software tools as part of an Agile team. From 2015 to 2010, they worked at KTH | Kungliga Tekniska högskolan as a Post-doctoral Researcher where they conducted research as a member of the Mobile-Life centre, under the Somaesthetics, And Arts & Crafts projects. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at Event lab / Idibaps as a Post-doctoral Researcher where they carried out scientific experiments where computer graphics, audio and virtual reality were applied to psychology and neuroscience. Currently, they work at Elk as a Senior Software Engineer where they work as a C++ developer on the Elk Audio OS and Elk Live software products.

Ilias Bergström obtained a PhD in Audiovisual Media Technology and Human Computer Interaction from UCL in 2010. Ilias also obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Graphics from UCL in 2004.
