Julie Helen Thomas

Julie Helen Thomas has extensive experience in volunteer and support roles across various educational and healthcare settings. Since October 2015, Julie has been a Volunteer Receptionist at Mind in Gwent and has served as the Lead Volunteer at the Alzheimer Cymru Activity Group since May 2017, focusing on organizing enjoyable activities for participants. Julie also contributes as a Volunteer Receptionist/Administrator for Mind and as a Voluntary Fundraising Coordinator for the Alzheimer’s Society, facilitating essential fundraising efforts. Previous roles include Support Worker positions at Coleg Gwent, where assistance was provided to students with learning difficulties, as well as mentoring at QWEST Foodbank. Julie possesses educational qualifications from UK-TEFL and Coleg Gwent, including a Higher Education degree in PCET.
