Michael Stokes

Michael Stokes has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Michael started their career as a Trainee Technician at Nine Network Australia in 1979 and then worked as a Senior Technician at Seven Network from 1980 to 1986. Michael then joined Sony Broadcast Australia as a Product Specialist in 1986 and subsequently worked at Southern Cross TEN as a Senior Technician from 1988 to 1994. From 1995 to 2002, Michael worked at Star TV as a Senior Systems Engineer. Michael then transitioned into management roles, working as a Regional Manager - Asia Pacific at Cavena Image Products AB from 2007 to 2020. Michael also served as a Regional Sales Director APAC at Edgeware AB from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they are working as a Business Development Specialist at Mind Over Machines, starting from June 2023.

Michael Stokes completed their Bachelor of Information Technology degree at RMIT University in 2018. Michael then pursued a Diploma of Leadership and Management at TAFE Queensland, which they completed in 2022. In addition to that, Michael also obtained a Diploma of Marketing and Communication with a specialization in Digital Marketing from TAFE Queensland, which they completed in 2021. Prior to their higher education studies, Michael earned a CEE (Certificate in Engineering Electronics) in Digital Electronics from TAFE NSW in 1982.
