James Huang

Manager, Interactive Art at MIND Research Institute

James Huang is an experienced design professional with a robust background in various roles within the graphic design and animation industries. Currently, James serves as Manager of Interactive Art at MIND Research Institute and has progressed through roles such as Lead Visual Designer, Senior Visual Designer, and Graphic Designer since joining in February 2010. Prior to MIND Research Institute, James contributed as a Graphic Designer at West Coast Choppers and held associate designer positions at ANDLAB and The Gasp Company, LLC. Earlier experience includes work as a Designer/Production Artist at SignCrafters and freelance roles in illustration and animation for notable companies such as BONGO COMICS, Corner Stone Animation, and Film Roman. James holds a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from California State University, Long Beach, complemented by education from Santa Monica College, School of Visual Arts, and Northwestern University.
