For psychiatric hospitalization, West Springs Hospital is the only psychiatric hospital between Denver and Salt Lake City, and the need for it grows. Because there are not enough psychiatric hospital beds in Colorado, West Springs Hospital, located in Grand Junction, serves the entire state as well as surrounding areas of Utah and Wyoming with its 32 beds.
