Mats Carlsson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mats began their career as a Storage Worker at ABB in 2000 and worked as an Assembly Line Worker at the same company from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, Mats worked as a Machine Operator at Enics and as a Quality Assurance Technician at ABB in 2008, performing ABSACC tests. In 2009, they served as a Thesis worker at Ericsson and later as an Integration and Verification Engineer at Academic Work Telecom Sweden AB. At Ericsson, Mats worked as a Software Designer from 2010 to 2016, specializing in software testing, integration, troubleshooting, and continuous integration. Mats also acted as a Scrum Master during this period. From 2016 to 2020, Mats worked as a Software Engineer at Ghost Games EA, providing software automation services for AAA game projects and promoting continuous integration and deployment within Electronic Arts game studios. Currently, they hold the position of Software Engineer at MindArk.
Mats Carlsson completed their high school education at ABB Industrial High School from 1999 to 2001. Later, they attended Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III in the year 2003 to 2004, where they studied French Language and Literature. Mats Carlsson further pursued their education at Chalmers University of Technology from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained an M.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
