Anita Jiawen Sadasivan

Co-Founder & Chief Wellbeing Officer at MindFi

Anita Jiawen Sadasivan has a diverse range of work experience. Most recently, they co-founded MindFi in November 2020 and currently holds the role of Co-Founder & Chief Wellbeing Officer. Prior to this, they worked at The Banyan Tree from June 2020 to December 2020 as a Therapist for the Project-T initiative, providing teletherapy in English and Mandarin to Banyan Tree employees worldwide.

Anita also has experience as the Co-founder of The Brass Barre, a dance school in Singapore, which they managed from December 2015 to September 2020. In this role, they handled company finances, buying, pricing, and merchandising.

Before that, Anita worked at Bettr Group from January 2014 to December 2015 as the Program Head for Emotional Training. Anita Jiawen designed and managed a 12-week program focused on creating healthy habits and enhancing communication skills for marginalized individuals.

Anita also served as a Psychologist & Counsellor at Raffles Medical Group from January 2013 to December 2013, providing counseling for in-patient and out-patient clients on various issues. Anita Jiawen completed a 6-month internship at Raffles Counselling Centre, part of their Master's in Counselling program, where they counseled clients using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

Prior to their counseling roles, Anita worked at ANZ Private Bank as an Assistant Relationship Manager from October 2010 to June 2012, providing premium client servicing for ultra-high net worth individuals. Anita Jiawen also organized social events as a member of the ANZ Staff Social Club.

Anita's earliest work experience was at the University of Michigan, where they worked as a Program Support for MPortfolio, the university's e-Portfolio program, from September 2009 to April 2010. In this role, they guided students in creating their ePortfolios.

Anita Jiawen Sadasivan's education history is as follows:

Anita obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Anita Jiawen then pursued a Master's degree in Counseling at Monash University from 2011 to 2013.

Prior to their university studies, Anita attended Raffles Institution from 2005 to 2006, and Raffles Girls' School from 2001 to 2004. However, the specific degrees or fields of study for these schools were not provided.

In terms of additional certifications, Anita obtained several qualifications. Anita Jiawen completed Dance Movement Therapy at LASALLE College of the Arts in May 2023. Seligman's Visionary Science from the University of Pennsylvania in December 2020, The Science of Well-Being from Yale University in December 2020, and DELE Spanish Diploma, Level A1 from Instituto Cervantes in May 2019.

Anita's education journey also includes a certification in Teaching Character and Creating Positive Classrooms from Relay Graduate School of Education in February 2015.

It should be noted that Anita is currently enrolled in Y Combinator for the S21 program, but no specific field of study or degree has been provided for this program.
