Roxana Cismas

Roxana Cismas has a diverse work experience in the field of business intelligence (BI) development and solutions architecture. Roxana is currently working as a BI Developer at mindit.io, starting in October 2021.

Before that, they worked at ING as a BI Developer from September 2018 to September 2021. In this role, Roxana developed and maintained BI solutions based on the MS SQL Server stack and Power BI on-premises. Roxana also worked on requirements analysis, roadmap creation, environments setup, ETL setup, data modeling, and dashboards design. Additionally, they were responsible for developing Build & Release pipelines using TFS and Azure DevOps platforms and ensuring adherence to established standards.

Prior to ING, Roxana worked at eMAG as a BI Developer. From September 2017 to August 2018, they maintained and enhanced BI dashboards and reporting solutions based on Qlikview for the BI Finance team. In this role, they also performed data modeling and front-end design based on team templates.

At eMAG, Roxana also served as a BI Developer from October 2014 to November 2015. During this time, they maintained or enhanced existing BI dashboards and reporting solutions based on Qlikview and SQL Server Reporting Services. Roxana also developed new dashboards for the Commercial team.

Earlier in their career, Roxana worked at Hewlett-Packard in various roles. From August 2012 to October 2014, they served as a BI Solutions Architect, analyzing project requirements, proposing solutions, and collaborating with project managers and analysts. Prior to this, from October 2009 to August 2012, they worked as a Reporting Developer, focusing on developing and maintaining medium to high complexity reporting solutions. Roxana also acted as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Access Databases and delivered trainings for the reporting team.

Before their time at Hewlett-Packard, Roxana held the position of Reporting Specialist at Hewlett-Packard from August 2007 to October 2008. In this role, they created low complexity reports using various platforms and implemented automation solutions using VBA scripting.

Roxana's earliest work experience was as an intern student at Descartes Center from November 2006 to April 2007. Here, they worked on designing course materials using Corel Draw and implementing low complexity functionalities for an online portal using web technologies.

Roxana Cismas holds a Master's degree in Data Bases - Support for Business from Academia de Studii Economice din București, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics - Informatics from Universitatea Petrol-Gaze din Ploiești between 2003 and 2007. Roxana also attended Colegiul National Mihai Viteazul, Ploiești from 1999 to 2003, where they specialized in Mathematics Informatics with a focus on French. In addition to their academic education, they have obtained various certifications including "Becoming an Agile Coach" and "Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Essential Training" from LinkedIn in January 2022, "Learning Google Tag Manager" from LinkedIn in January 2022, "Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I)" from Scrum.org in November 2021, and "MCTS: SQL Server 2008, Database Development" from Microsoft in January 2013.
