Sarah Y. Vinson

Sarah Y. Vinson is the Director at MindMed, a previous company of hers being Lorio Forensics. Sarah has also been the Medical Director of the Fulton Cty Jail Competency Restoration Pod and the Founder and Executive Editor of www.OurselvesBlack.com. Sarah is an HBCU educated and Ivy League trained psychiatrist with a passion for promoting black mental health and owning the narrative.

Sarah Y. Vinson graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine with their M.D. Sarah then completed their BS in Chemistry from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Sarah did their General Psychiatry Residency at Cambridge Health Alliance/ Harvard Medical School. After that, they completed fellowships in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine. Sarah is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry.
