Erik Ostlund has extensive work experience in the field of frontend development. Erik is currently working as a Frontend Developer at MindPrint Learning, LLC since May 2022. Flipgrid was acquired by Microsoft in June 2018, and the Passport team was acquired by EMC Publishing in the same year. Before joining Flipgrid, Erik was a Developer at the University of Minnesota - Institute for Design Innovation from October 2014 to February 2015, where they were a founding team member of Flipgrid and supported both Flipgrid and Passport.

Prior to their career in frontend development, Erik gained experience as an IT Business Analyst at Sight Marketing from September 2013 to August 2014. Erik also served as an Operations Manager at Somnetics, LLC from March 2006 to December 2011, and as a Technical Trainer at Cypress Semiconductor from November 2000 to June 2005.

Erik's career began in the United States Army, where they served as a Sergeant from January 1996 to January 2000.

Erik Ostlund has a strong educational background in the field of Education. Erik obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Career and Technology Education from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Building upon their undergraduate studies, Erik pursued a Master of Education degree in Learning Technologies at the University of Minnesota from 2011 to 2013. Through their academic journey, Erik has developed expertise in both the practical and theoretical aspects of education, particularly in the areas of career development and technology integration for effective learning.
