James Tennant

James Tennant has extensive work experience in the veterinary and animal health industry. James currently holds the position of Business Development Manager UK&ROI at Mindray Animal Medical, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at IDEXX as a Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant in East Anglia from 2019 to 2023.

From 2018 to 2019, James worked as a National Technical Advisor at Jurox Pty Ltd and before that, they were a Technical Account Manager at the same company from 2017 to 2017. James also had roles at Zoetis Inc. as a Veterinary Support Manager from 2015 to 2017 and as a Territory Manager from 2012 to 2015.

Before joining Zoetis, James was the Southern Trade Manager at Norbrook Laboratories Ltd from 2011 to 2012, and a Veterinary Advisor UK and Ireland at AB-science from 2010 to 2011. During their tenure at Forum Animal Health from 2008 to 2010, they held the position of Territory Manager East.

Prior to their roles in the animal health industry, James worked as a Course Scheme Manager and Lecturer at Shuttleworth College from 2004 to 2008. James'searliest work experience was as a Product Manager at Cooper Zimbabwe from 1998 to 2000.

James Tennant obtained their BVSc degree in Veterinary from the University of Zimbabwe, where they studied from 1990 to 1996.
