Sumit Giri

Sumit Giri, PhD, is a Cyber ML Engineer and Security Data Scientist specializing in applied cryptography and post-quantum cryptography. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics, they have held various academic positions, including Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Tirupati, and Postdoctoral Fellow at both Université de Montréal and Tel Aviv University. Currently, Sumit works as an AI Red Teaming & Security Consultant at Mindrift and as a Cyber Security Consultant at CyStack, while also serving as the Director of Innovation at Threat Modeling Connect. They have previously explored entrepreneurship in privacy-preserving machine learning at Entrepreneur First and taught fundamental mathematics as a part-time faculty member at Concordia University.
