Gaku Fujimoto

Gaku Fujimoto is an experienced professional in the automotive and technology sectors, currently serving as the Director of Business Development for APAC at minds.ai since May 2022, a startup based in Santa Cruz, California, specializing in AI-driven schedulers for semiconductor manufacturing process management. Prior to this role, Gaku held various positions at Honda R&D Co., Ltd., including large project leader for emergency steering avoidance control using deep reinforcement learning and for semi-active damper control, along with responsibilities in business strategy for micro mobility. Gaku's earlier experience encompasses project leadership in designing magnetorheological semi-active suspension systems and piezoelectric material research, as well as material engineering for F1 and hybrid systems at Honda Racing Development Limited and for marine engines at Suzuki Motor Corporation. Gaku holds a Master’s degree in Applied Physics from Tohoku University.
