David Willingham is an experienced professional with a background in occupational therapy and youth ministry. Currently serving as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Minds Matter LLC since June 2023, David works with TBI survivors to promote independence in daily living. Previous roles include Route Service Representative at Quest Diagnostics from October 2020 to May 2023 and leadership positions within the Kansas District, LCMS, from March 2007 to April 2020, where David led initiatives to engage youth in their faith. David’s extensive ministry experience includes serving as Minister of Youth & Education at Redeemer Lutheran Church Olathe and various youth ministry roles, demonstrating a commitment to mentoring and guiding youth and families in their spiritual growth. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Director of Christian Education from Concordia University, Nebraska, and an Associate degree from the Karpenko Institute for Nurturing & Discipling Leadership Excellence.

Our innovative experts provide services and resources that empower consumers to relearn, reinvent and reconnect in their communities. We believe in a holistic, person-directed approach to care. Our consumers work with physical, occupational, cognitive, behavioral, and speech therapists as well as Transitional Living Services staff who help consumers learn independent living skills so they can live, work and play in the community. We also collaborate with consumers to prepare for and secure employment and other meaningful activities. We understand the complex processes individuals and families experience after a brain injury.
