Minds Matter Psychotherapy offers research-informed, emotionally attuned therapy and psychological assessment for adults, couples, and adolescents across California, with offices in Los Altos, Redwood City, Santa Barbara, and Beverly Hills, and secure telehealth available statewide.

Our PhD- and PsyD-level clinicians bring advanced clinical training and research backgrounds from institutions including Stanford, UCLA, and UC Berkeley. Our approach is research-informed, evidence-based, and personal. Care is shaped around the person, couple, family, or assessment question in front of us.

People often come to Minds Matter because they want therapy that can meet the full complexity of their lives. They may be intellectually curious, emotionally perceptive, relationally sensitive, or highly reflective, but they do not need to arrive with a clear map of their patterns. Some can name what is happening and feel frustrated that insight has not created change. Others know only that something feels unresolved, painful, repetitive, or hard to explain.

We work with relationship anxiety, relationship OCD, anxiety, high-functioning anxiety, OCD and intrusive thoughts, overthinking, perfectionism, trauma and nervous system responses, sleep anxiety, identity and life transitions, adolescent concerns, family dynamics, and couples in repeating patterns, affairs, and repair. We also provide psychological testing for ADHD, autism, learning, attention, emotional functioning, and diagnostic clarity.

Depending on the concern, therapy may draw from EMDR, ERP, CBT-I, relational and attachment-informed therapy, trauma-focused care, couples therapy approaches, and developmentally informed work with adolescents and families.

Minds Matter is for people seeking care that feels precise, engaged, and human, with enough clinical depth to hold complexity. We help clients turn insight into emotional and relational change they can feel in daily life.
