Wicus Verhoef

Wicus Verhoef has extensive work experience in various roles related to data analysis, machine learning, and software development. Wicus is currently the CDO & Co-Founder at Mindset AI, where they design and builds hyper-personalized, adaptive apps using machine learning. Prior to this, they worked at Workshare as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and later as a Lead Data Scientist. Wicus also served as a Data Analyst at Bonza Gaming and held multiple roles at P:Cubed, including Senior Research and Development Analyst, Head of Data Team, and Statistical Analyst. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Product Analyst and Credit Analyst at African Bank and interned at TransUnion.

Wicus Verhoef's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Mathematics and Informatics from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit from 2002 to 2004. Wicus then pursued a BSc, Hons. degree in the same field at the same institution in 2005. Continuing their academic journey, Wicus Verhoef completed a Master's degree in Business Mathematics and Informatics from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit in 2006 and 2007.
